H.I.H.S. Open House 2009.

 HIHS had a open house yesterday morning and only 2 schools came and this year the open house much smaller scale compared to the one i shot last year. So, here are some of the highlights of the event! :D

In the hall, the Primary School kids had a visual and audio taste of the school’s Arts & Music CCAs!

 

After the Arts & Music showcase, The Uniform Groups performed their individual roles in a small action skit at the school’s parade square!

 

After which, the primary school students toured around the school compound and experienced the school’s class environment, other CCAs and what the students had been taught throughout the 4-5 years of education in HIHS.

Rainy Season.

Heavy down pour almost everyday here in Singapore. Hard to be exposed under the rain and taking photos ): Well, A different way of shooting for me now during this rainy season!

Spent 3 days with my new Sony A850! Finally got a 35mm digital and get on with serious photography! (well, the past 3 days ain’t that serious yet) :D

All the photos here are taken with the Minolta 28-75/2.8 lens!

DAY 1

Haoxiang came over my place to play some halo 3 while waiting for Minghui to end class!

At 9, we met Minghui at Macdonalds for dinner and Haoxiang had to catch the last bus back home. So me and Minghui went around hougang to snap a few photos!

It was raining quite heavily and we had to seek refuge under a HDB flat and met this cute cat!

DAY 2

Met the guys in the morning for a NERF war but apparently, only 8 out of 15 showed up D:  We only had a round of NERF and headed down to Hougang for lunch at Long John’s Silver!

 

After lunch, we headed down to Clement’s place to play a couple of board games :D First up was Bang!

DAY 3

My family and I went to church, Sunday, early in the morning. After which, we went to Grandma’s place!

My brother had a idea to head down to Lim Chu Kang’s SAF FIBUA (Fighting In Built Up Area) at Neo Tiew Road to check it out! We had a 20mins drive from Queenstown down to Lim Chu Kang.

“Bird Life”

The title is Sony’s new motto how weird.. Like no other sounds better though and dang, the Sony A850 camera is killing me. Looking forward to it! :D more updates coming soon!
