Plastic Skyscrapers.

The final product after 3 days.

This is a rather late update! 2 weeks ago, Wei Xuan and I helped Michelle, to build a 1/500 acrylic scale model for her final project as an architect at National University Singapore. We spent 3 late nights sorting out pieces, peeling out their protective piece of brown paper of both sides. Hit the jump to find out more!

Sorting out Floor Plates and Massing on a sheet of A0 paper.

All of us had to wear latex gloves as not to leave fingerprints on the model as they are mainly clear acrylic.

Precise laser engravings on the base plate that represents shophouses and where the buildings will go.

Wei Xuan using acrylic glue (Chloroform) which fuses both pieces by melting them.

Wei Xuan's square format camera.

Michelle's final product.

After the whole construction of the model(s), we had to set up a studio to snap different angles of the model. As we're all tired, most of the images were somewhat crappy and unusual due to my brain dead state. I only found that out when I was sober the next day! But thank God it all went well and it was done beautifully!

More to come..

Before you can post content, you need a website that looks great. This is where website design comes in. But it's not enough for it to look snazzy. Solid SEO demands a site that is also search-engine friendly and user friendly.seo canada
